Veda is a watercolour artist who employs traditional art-making techniques, such as embroidery and gold-leafing to create intricate artwork. Veda sews directly on paper, making embroidery an indispensable part of her compositions. Veda strives to establish a visual balance between paint and thread and to create harmony between cultural differences in her paintings. Her work features references to ancient Asian symbols and motifs as well as peculiar-looking animals that are designed by taking inspiration from contemporary Western animated movies.
