Divine Raas Leela was played by the Lord Krishna with his beloved Radha and Gopi’s. The artist has used colors of love, happiness, friendship, peace and strength in this artwork. This painting explores the synthesis of culture with faiths and beliefs.
Pink flowers signify passion, sentiment, and love. The artist has used different shades of pink color to emphasize cool and warm, light and dark areas. The blooms go on several occasions, from happiness to admiration, from love to gratitude and from showing thankfulness to convey departure.
Texture in painting refers to the look and feel of the canvas. In this artwork artist has used great combination of colors as well as different kinds of texture. The effects of color can be purely optical, colors like blue and green have a calming effect, while red and yellow are more stimulating to the senses. Artist has explored the richness of metallic gold and gold leaf to enhance the texture.
Renuka Sanjeev is a self-trained artist from India and currently lives in Dubai. She has done her post-graduation in Science field but that did not stop her to continue her passion towards art. It gives her immense joy, fulfillment and inner peace to learn the new development in the world of art. She took up painting at the age of ten when she was encouraged by her family. This early enthusiasm has now become the driving force which makes her creative through painting.
She specializes in a style of using plaster of Paris, oil and acrylic painting. She likes to paint creative landscapes and figurative painting in oil and acrylic color. She played with shapes, colors, textures, lines which gives a new creation to her paintings. She gets inspired from immediate and perceived environment. She strives to portray feelings of happiness, calmness, serenity, vibrancy and energy through her work.
Her recent work of Raas Leela and Buddha explores the synthesis of culture with faiths and beliefs. She expressed the idea of enlightenment in the most realistic manner possible.
